If you've spent any time in the Bon Air neighborhood of Richmond, you've certainly visited Joe's Inn, the Buford Road Pharmacy and McCool's of Bon Air art restoration and frame shop. The latter is a local and venerable business in the Bon Air community, having opened its doors in the early 1990s.
Last week, six BAAA members arrived at McCool's house paintbrushes in hand, and prepared a long wall in the shop's entrance in just over an hour. Sign up sheets will circulate at the December luncheon meeting to allow members to hang their work before Christmas.
