WHAT ART MEANS TO ME
Art brings great joy to my life both in admiration of works by others and expression by my own endeavors. It is a lifelong journey of trying to get where it is that I want to go and say what I want to say. Though creating a work of art is a constant challenge, the whole process is very exhilarating and something that I want to keep repeating. Through the eyes of a painter, I look at the world in a different way, seeing not only the overall beauty but the shapes, values and colors as I have been taught to see. I’ve tried through different learning processes to master the technical skills necessary to paint worthy artwork and along the way I have gained invaluable experience through friendships, travel, and knowledge.
