BAAA October Meeting Program - Sculptor Christopher Wagner

Christopher Wagner is a sculptor originally from Kentucky but has lived and worked all over the country. He currently lives in Williamsburg and works as a Studio Art Technician at Williams and Mary. He received a B.A. in art history and sculpture from Georgetown College (KY) and a M.A.F. in sculpture from Edinboro University (PA).

Christopher has a particular passion for woodworking and his work focuses on recycled or reconstituted wood as a medium. He utilizes traditional carving skills in the creation of contemporary sculpture. Christopher’s work is currently displayed all over the country, including Portland and Astoria OR and Washington DC and he gives workshops in Virginia recently at Arts on Main - Gloucester, VA.
