BAAA February Program - David Cochran

David Cochran will be the March 6th, 2026 speaker. He currently lives in Richmond after maintaining a studio at Torpedo Art Center in Alexandria for 33 years. David is a highly sought after portrait painter and has included as many as 38 individuals in one painting in a style he calls “A Different Kind of Family Portrait”. He is also known for music related paintings especially of Jazz clubs. He combines realistic portraits with mixed media to create an individual style of a very loose, contemporary and even chaotic anti-portrait look
