Bon Air Artists Association Annual Art Show to benefit World Pediatrics
Reception, Show & Sale
March 22nd & 23rd 2025
Each year the Bon Air Artists Association, now, 51 years young, puts on an art show and sale that benefits a charity. This year we are partnering with World Pediatrics, "Heal a Child, Change the World". They will receive a portion of the art sales so, not only are you helping local artists, but you are also donating to an organization that has helped over 25,000 children around the world. Most artists exhibit an average of 6 pieces of artwork. That's over 288 pieces of artwork for your viewing pleasure and a wide variety of styles and mediums to buy and take home. Bon Air Artists Association Exhibiting Members must jury in through a committee of club members to ensure we are exhibiting the finest artwork in the community. We have both very seasoned and new artists that will be in the show. Many of our artists have won local and regional awards. Our two guest artists that will be joining us this year are Robert Caldwell and Stanley Rayfield. Robert is an award-winning wildlife artist and Stanley Rayfield is known for his award-winning portraits. Both are exceptional artists, and we are grateful that they have agreed to be a part of our show. On Saturday, March 22, we will start the show with a reception from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., serving great food and drinks and the benefit of getting first dibs on hundreds of artworks. The fee to attend is $50. Then on Sunday the show is open from noon until 5 p.m. when our show comes to a close. There is no admission fee for Sunday. Buy a ticket for $5 to enter our raffle for a piece of original art. The art in the raffle will be on display at the show. We will hold the raffle near the end of the show.

OUR HISTORY
Bringing Richmond Metropolitan Area Artists Together
In 1974, students in J'net Kaulfers' oil painting classes encouraged her to create an organized group to accommodate their growing talent and interest in art. The Bon Air Artists Association was formed. Today, it fulfills the wants of a group of avid artists throughout the Richmond Metropolitan Area by promoting cultural awareness, offering excellent programming and giving incoming artists the chance to meet, learn, exhibit and share with other artists. The Bon Air Artists Association is an active, friendly, and stimulating organization of and for artists of all levels and mediums. We invite you to check us out and join our passion for art!
