ABOUT US
The Bon Air Artists Association is Richmond's premier and perhaps longest-standing local artists' organization, gathering some of the finest artists in the Metro Richmond area for community, betterment, education, philanthropy and, of course, the sharing of our fine art in galleries, exhibits, and art shows throughout the area.
The Association is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that regularly meets the first Friday of each month, except for July and August, at 9:30 AM at the Bon Air Christian Church at 2071 Buford Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23235. Two types of memberships are available, Exhibiting and Regular. For more information, visit our Becoming a Member page or contact Membership Chair, Lee Austin at bonairartists@gmail.com. OUR HISTORY
Bringing Richmond Metropolitan Area Artists Together
In 1974, students in J'net Kaulfers' oil painting classes encouraged her to create an organized group to accommodate their growing talent and interest in art. The Bon Air Artists Association was formed. Today, it fulfills the wants of a group of avid artists throughout the Richmond Metropolitan Area by promoting cultural awareness, offering excellent programming and giving incoming artists the chance to meet, learn, exhibit and share with other artists. The Bon Air Artists Association is an active, friendly, and stimulating organization of and for artists of all levels and mediums. We invite you to check us out and join our passion for art!
